The Spotted Spa has joined Plan Canada (www.plancanada.ca) in their “Because I Am A Girl” program to help the young girls in developing countries acquire the education and health benefits they have been missing out on for the shear reason that they are female.
Fatimata is 10 years old and lives in the community of Bourzanga, in the province of Bam, the country of Burkina Faso, on the continent of Africa. Her father is a peasant farmer and her mother is a housewife, she has one sister who is 10 years older than her.

ARION Therapeutic Farm
ARTS was founded in Alberta as a support to existing Rescue organizations in an effort to move animals out of danger as strays or in kill shelters and into holding homes until an accepting Rescue has the space to intake them. No pet should die while waiting for a space. ARTS also has a transport division to move pets to Rescue or adoptive homes. Distance should not be a barrier to survival.
The Spotted Spa Shuttle will be making runs every 4-6 weeks for ARTS moving dogs in a 6-8 hours radius around the Okanagan area.
